Biography
Hi, I’m Jasper, and I work at the intersection of data analysis, web development, and GIS. With a strong foundation in geography and programming, I’m passionate about taking complex data sets and turning them into clear, actionable insights that drive informed decisions.
In the web development space, I create dynamic, data-driven applications using a stack that includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Python, and SQL. I’m also experienced in geospatial web tools like Leaflet, OpenLayers, and Esri’s JavaScript SDK. I aim to develop intuitive and seamless applications by utilizing modern development practices like TDD, webpack, and eslint.
My background extends into data visualization and analytics, where I leverage the Microsoft Power Platform—Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate—to create compelling data stories and automate workflows. I’m also well-versed in ETL/ELT processes, helping businesses extract, transform, and load data efficiently for better performance.
In geospatial analysis, I have a deep understanding of tools like ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, and FME. I rely on Python and SQL to automate processes, manipulate large datasets, and conduct geospatial analysis, ensuring precision and efficiency in my work.
Currently upskilling myself within the world of cyber security 🔒
